Streaming is a method of viewing videos on the ucommu website. Unlike with downloading, where you have to wait until the file has been downloaded, with streaming, you can immediately enjoy the video after purchase without downloading. Since the files are not permanently stored on your device, you can enjoy more videos without worrying about storage.

Q. Are there any precautions to take when using streaming?

Streaming temporarily downloads video files using an Internet connection. We recommend using WiFi or a wired connection, as it uses a lot of data.

Q. I rented the wrong movie. Can I change it or get a refund?

Sorry, rentals cannot be changed or refunded. You will need to re-rent the movie. Please verify before purchasing.

Q. I rented the same movie twice. Can I get a refund?

Please do not click the “submit” button repeatedly during payment—it may result in duplicate charges. If this happens, contact us using the inquiry form. After confirmation, we will issue a refund. Also check your card balance and online purchase permissions.

Q. The movie doesn't load.

Load time depends on your internet connection. If servers are congested, especially at night, try again later.

Q. I rented a product, but where can I watch it?

Go to the "rented movies" page and select your video. You can view it from the “movie details” page.

Q. Do I have access to all videos with the unlimited monthly plan?

No, only videos labeled under “Unlimited Viewing” in the top menu are eligible.

Q. If I sign up for an unlimited monthly plan, will my payment be automatically deducted?

Yes, the payment is automatically deducted every month until you cancel the plan.

Q. How do I cancel my monthly unlimited plan/subscription?

Go to the “Purchased Plans” page and cancel your subscription.

Q. If I cancel my monthly unlimited plan, will I not be able to watch movies from that day?

No. You can continue watching for the full 31-day period from your purchase. After that, access will be removed.

Q. How long does the monthly unlimited plan go for?

It lasts for 31 days from the date of purchase. Access continues even after canceling, for the full period. No daily pro-rata.

Q. What is the difference between monthly unlimited viewing, rental, and individual purchase?

Monthly unlimited viewing: Watch all works marked as "Unlimited Viewing" with a monthly fee.
Rental: Watch a movie as many times as you want within the rental period.
Individual Purchase: Own it forever and watch without monthly fees.
